550cc 13b injectors Spray Pattern

Iam wanting to put some 550cc injectors into a 4agze ,, the most common up grade is the Mazda 13b turbo injectors , from what i have read there spray pattern is very poor , Can any one confirm these findings and has had problems with the idle when used in a piston engine after Tuning ?

I was running those injectors in my 18rg turbo and it idled like shit.

I use em and my 4a purrs like a kitten !!!!!!! no probs what so ever!

Im about to uprgrade to some 850cc cos there maxed out with 55 psi fuel pressure

What ECU are you using ?
And what 550cc injector ?

By oval center i ake it you are talking about the plug shape?
Im using factory toyota injector plugs. All you do is get a razor blade and cut the two notches either side of the injector off and just leave the center one for the plug to clip onto.

I believe these are also a single spray injector which might be part of the "poor spray pattern" theory. Duel sprays would be better for a 16/20v engine.

i had 13bt in my 1jzgte and i made 400 rwhp with them and they idled perfect.

i had them cleaned and tested prior to putting them in though.
