I changed some of these a while back, you can do it but you have to disassemble the gauge.
you can pry off the ring at the front to remove the face.
but when you put it back together, itll be all scratched and bent.
Hi
I have some Omori gauges in my car, but the water temp has no light (it is wired in to power)
I thought it may have just blown the bulb or something and that it should be an easy fix.
However when I take it out there seems to be no way to change the bulb (ie no holder in the back)
Is there some trick? Or is there just no way to do it?
Thanks
Rob

that sucks...
I presume the face is held on with the 2 small screws you can see?
Does the needle have to come off first or does it come off with the face?
Thanks!
hey mate, it was a while ago so im not to sure on specifics. I think once you unbolt the fitting from the rear of the shell. the whole unit comes out of the shell, im pretty sure I didnt have to take the needle off.
are there any nuts or bolts on the rear? to test maybe loosen these everything you can, and see if the inside bits move independant of the shell.
