Default How do i get the pins out of the ecu harness plugs?

    As title states.

Im trying to repin the ECU plug from the MX83 ECU body plug to the JZX81 ECU body plug.

I have been sitting there for 40 odd minutes to get the pins out of the plugs and have no luck and started to get pissed off so i left it lol. Yes i tryed it with metal wire and all sorts of little things that can fit in there. Which hole do you put the wire into?

I have unlocked the clips thing that holds them in already.

    Any pictures flirting around here?

This is the last thing i need to do to get the car started.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Heng

Or possibly something like found here:

but Terra's option looks more accessable.

Buy yourself a mini hook set off ebay, makes it real easy.

I use a reasonably grunty sewing needle. You can sort of embed the needle into the lock and hold it down sufficiently. The trick is to push the terminal into the block, then lever the clip, then pull.

Easier said than done I know, but once you get a couple, it gets easier

    All done

I used the bobbly pin idea and sharping the end alittle so it stabs into the clip and lift it up and slide the wire out, works great.

    Cheers
