You will need a powered splitter river, because those car feed antennas are a tricky 'impedence something or other' based setup, and when you load two devices on it, (albeit only one working at any given time) you'll mess that setup up. Get that splitter doovy and I'd say you'll be fine.

If its just to flick on every once in a while River, just hang a piece of scrap wire out the antenna socket of the stock radio and hang it behind the dash. That will pick up anything while the car is just sitting stationary.
