Its either leaking oil seals in the SC12, or youve got a heap of blowby oil from the crankcase making its way back to the intake.
Always wondered why my oil consumption went up dramaticly after i swappd the 4agze out of my hatch into the daily...
the things i have to narrow doen are
-the lack of vsv's ect..
-FMIC joints collapsing (fixing as i write this)
- supercharger somehow getting oil in it? pushing it though the cooler pipe?
my main idea is because i dont have this bitch wired up?
idea pls pls pls much love in return

Cant be blow by i reckon, cam breather is just giving a little condensation clearish liquid...
looks and smells like engine oil, i know the charger oil is pretty funky smellin stuff.... is it possible that vsv not being hooked up is building pressure on one side of the chargers bearing causing them to leak?
compression test revealed nothing,
terra has revealed that its probably the supercharger is fubar.... great..
turbo i say
Yeah, turbo is the best idea future wise.
SC12's are cheapish, but getting harder to find in good condition.
Or you could consider a different type of supercharger.

I dont have that plug connected up either and have no oil consumption problems. Running SC14 though.
Oil in cooler must be the breather as SC12 will be killed quickly with lost oil, and you say oil consumption is dramatic?....Disconnect the breather and thrash to see if oil builds up in the head, if engine bay is covered in oil, there's your problem. Catch can will be a cleaner way to go though![]()
its a daily idk what ill do...
still not 100% convinced though, this oil looks smells (lol tastes) like engine oil.. and i know i put duragear in it when i had the motor out
it's not the SC
supercharger oil is i still just under full probs 5-8 full definitely smells and looks diferent to what is in the cooler
so lets brainstorm... how the fuck can engine oil get into the intercooler
taking into account:
cam breather vents externally
compression test is within tolerance
and i havent been pouring oil down the pipes
brainfart:
anyone know exactly how the cusco mechanical ABV works?
Sounds like you need to trace back through the inlet piping to find out where its coming from then.

ABV (more to the point how i hooked up its vac line) was to blame
abv was being held open constantly under boost so the supercharger was also able to suck through the manifold allowing oil to come through the stem seals... ill explain a bit more later
that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever
im not thinking ffs
im gonna hook up the abv right n fuck off the silly**** joins n see if it fixes the issue
