which version of 3SGTE has the toughest rods?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if any one ever do side by side comparison of which version of con-rods available in any stock 3SGE/3SGTE is the beefiest in dimension? (like how they did it to all rods from a 4AGE/GZE).

no flame please and hopefully I know forged rods are better, but I am looking for stock rods

i've got some stock rods if you want. as far as i'm aware there's no diff between gen2/3 rods.

gen2 NA rods look the same tho i doubt they were made to the same strength/tolerances.

it was a surprise to me that the gen4 rods where weaker as all 3s rod's i've come across look identical to the naked eye, not seen any gen4 or gen1 rods

so what rods do you have? Gen 2 or Gen 3? also, are they came out from same engine?

i tell a lie, the gen3 rods are thicker, having said that the 3sgte rods are generally thoight of as "indestructable" just heavy and no good for high rpm as it puts strain on the crank/bearings.
