just an idea! but how about people getting rep points when they give away there free stuff like alot do! be a nice reward when non was expected!

There's nothing stopping anyone from giving +rep (or -rep, for that matter) to anyone else, except for the inbuilt limits of the rep system.

So, knock yourself out and give them some +rep if you think they deserve it.
