Default 1jz-ge vvti + a340e, shifting rpm, speed limit?

Just would like to compare my swapped engine to the others to find out if it behaves ok. I kinda doubt about 200hp in it. A mate has a 5VZ in similar car (I've put some pictures of mine in appropriate thread) and he's made 200kph without any big trouble (according to his gps receiver). At the same time I could only reach 182, that's 5600rpm at 3rd gear.

I currently run final gear of 3.58,with no remote chance to get close to 10secs to 100 but it lets run fast and silent. Got a plate from the car my engine was taken from. It says A340E A04A. As far as I know this means 4.1 final drive. So it seems to me that the speed sensor would show 180kph when actual speed is about 206kph. Which means I didn't hit the speed limit but insufficient power limit instead.

    Introduction off, questions on :-)
1 - rev question. When you floor your 1jz car, what are shift rpm's? I usually got something around 5800-6000, while rev limit is 6300. Are these normal values?

2 - how does speed limit feel? Has it for example that jerky feel of rpm limit?

3 - with accelerator fully depressed, would the auto ever switch to o/d or speed limit is normally reached at 3rd only?

If it is JDM I would expect it to have 180kph speed limit built in but with different gearing actual speed limit would be different

I expect that too,but don't know how to find out if speed limit is reached.

You'll definitely know it when you hit speed limit/speed cut, feels similar to rev limit.

Dale, when you hit the speed cut on auto transmission, does it ever happen at o/d? Or o/d is never engaged at maximum speeds and pedal to the floor?

I can't answer that one, sorry. I haven't experienced speed cut in an auto before.
