Default Beams 3S Dry sump question

Currently doing a dry sump setup on my 3s beams motor, I need to either make, or hopefully buy an alloy blanking plate to replace where the original oil pump was located, which allows me to plumb the pressure line in from the pump.

I have seen a couple of them on cars running the same fraser sump pan as me, (beau yates's car and bill sherwood's clubman)

was wondering if this is a part produced by fraser or if they are custom made.

Here are a couple of photos of the plate in question:

You can get the timing cover aluminium replacement plate from Frazer in NZ, can't remember how much they want for it but give them a call or email and see.

So you already have the dry sump pan? How much did that cost and where did you get it from?

i have a fraser pan, which i got secondhand (but unused) off one of the forums. think it was around $600 from memory

I've send an email to fraser so i'll see what they say.

with mine i used the std pump but i have another gear on the pump housing and instead of bringing the oil in the front like bills i just made it come in where the oil heat exchanger cooler is ,which primed the motor no problems

you used the original alloy top half of the sump didn't you glenn? the problem is that the fraser sumps don't line up with the oil pump and you have to screw into the bottom of it. I heard back from fraser... they make an alloy chest plate... for about $800 aussie you get a kit with timing belt (they use a different length one because of how they setup the pulleys) and all tensioners etc.

Think i'll have a go at making my own personally...

its easier by using the front pump make up a blanking plate to go over the pump make up a new pulley .also where the oil pump connects to the alloy pan i just used 10cent peices to block off and also the main gallery as well .and brought the oil in where the oil filters bolted to in the earlier versions on the block also try to put the oil tank in the engine bay as close as you can to the fire wall
