I would be keen.
I want to give my gearbox/diff/tailshaft/etc a hiding well in advance of the 6 hour, and a DECA day would be ideal.
Does anyone know of any coming up in July/August? I think the Nissan guys have one in September, but that's getting a bit close to the 6hr.
I would be keen.

I was a trainer for 6.5 years, specialising in truck, but also did car and emergency vehicle training,, for the following 6.5 years I was the Training and Quality Coordinator. I did all their Quality Assurance stuff, their Vicroads compliance stuff, their trainer employment process, from advertising through to selection, I assisted with the trainer performance review process, all this stuff for all their then 4 sites, Shepp, Melb, Sydney & NZ.
Life now is much easier.
When I was training there I regularly took a semi-trailer onto the skid pan.
They can do both, but once wet it stays wet for some time, so you do your dry stuff first.
It used to be about $3k for the day for the 100 acre facility, 7 k's of roads, plus the 4 acre skid pan.
I'm down!
so we need 30+ people?? to keep it reasonably priced
skyline australia had it at $80 with 50 people...

Jeez guys, everyone's keen... all we need now is an event!
The one I went to used all three tracks. There was one ~40sec sprint track with some small hills, a few turns, and a few witches hats thrown in as chicanes. There was one really short circuit... basically launch into a RH turn, straight into a left sweeper with another witches hat chicane. Then there was the skidpan... dry in the morning with a motorkhana style course, and then they wet it down and setup a giant drift circle.
Not 100% keen on organising another day, as I'm pretty flat out with work... but I'll have a looksee. More interested in whether other clubs have already organised one.
i think we just missed one a couple weeks back
id be keen to go but not supposed to be rooting around on the car atm so we will see
