    Yeah, racetrack calendar says it's open Monday, closed as of Tuesday. Route not planned yet. Hook me up with a map Senator Conjob.

    Basically Bells line from Richmond to Lithgow is the fun way to get to Bathurst and will avoid a fair bit of the traffic on the Great Western Highway. It is the way we head out to Dubbo each year for the Nationals.

    Ok people, time to start thinking more seriously about this. A little birdie has informed me of a few changes to the Toyfest weekend this year and as a consequnece, I'm considering looking for accom in a couple of different locations on the North side of the harbour/river, hopefully giving us easy access to the show and dinner, and other tourist/slacker type stuff. Anyone else seriously interested in accom before I start scaling down my search parameters this week?

    We hit Canberra on the 1st of October, arrive in Sydney the day after. The four of us leave Sydney on Thursday.
