can a 4agze run on 195 cc injectors?

i just went to check to see what the injectors were like out of my GZE, i check the part number and according to the denso list, they are only 195cc.

i remember the engine would run real rich. standard ecu and AFM. has someone swapped the injectors before i had the car?

the number is 23250-16060.

You would be leaning out big time at WOT on boost with those injectors. Are you sure there not the 23250-16061- they are the 365cc ones...

Probably the denso list is mis-printed. Can you compare to another set of GZE injectors? Or do they have different part numbers?

well they definetly have 16060 on them. and they have orange tops. it was pouring black smoke out the rear when i had it on the road, indicating to me that is mas rich. (the afm was a bit dicky tho)

i thought they were 365....until today

Mass rich wouldnt that equal too much fuel? Therefore larger than standard??

yeah well thats what i thought. but the number says otherwise.....

i think the AFM was the biggest cause of the problem, but still, it doesnt explain why i have these in my engine

Im checking out on ze google and from all reports orangey/red nippn denso = gze injectors.

i am about to confirm it on ae86 dc. there is a set for sale that look the same. gettting part number

to be 100% sure of what you the injectors are, get them cleaned and flowed - you probably should do that if you buy second hand injectors anyway.

Slide: Do you have a pic of em ??? I dont know the part no. of a GZE injector but i do know what the 2 types of GZE injectors look like.


I thought you were running 550cc Anyway ??? --Is this another car ??

Individual part numbers for the injectors are as follows:
23209-16060 - 01 = Blue
23209-16060 - 02 = Black
23209-16060 - 03 = Yellow
23209-16060 - 04 = White

195 would be barely enough to feeda 4AGE at full noise.
they will not support a GZE at full boost/revs for sure.

4 X 195cc injectors at 80% duty cycle with a BSFC of 0.65 (mid range for a forced induction motor) will support about 123kw.

I have just checked mine and they are 23250-16060 from an early GZE. Same as Slide86.

195cc should support the GZE
210cc are used for 18rgeu's

unless the problem lies in the injectors being high imp (60) and low for the (61s)
These was a set of 365's for sale which were orange/red, multi spray and they were (61's) from memory.
just throwing it out there.
