I am looking to upgrade the turbo in the165. Its fitted with 205 motor and there is not much space particularly between turbo and radiator. I had to relocate 1 of the fans to fit the motor with standard turbo and stainless dump pipe
ATS racing sent me this note
Anyone else done an upgrade of this type ? Recommendations ?we have stumbled on a neat option that will fit the ST205, and will clear the hood of a ST165. The ATS GT3071WG kit. I just shipped one to Australia

turbo, yep great choice!
JUST buy the turbo...decent fabrication shops will easilly be able to make a TIG welded merge collector steam pipe manifold, dump pipe, Cooler piping etc to make that turbo fit your car.. and either you can then just chose a combination of nice speedflow fittings or what have you to supply water.. have a brake line place make a nice oil feed line better part of $80-100 for the best satinless braid, teflon coated, double crimped stainless ends etc etc
i don't know how much this 'kit' is worth but this may even work out cheaper! considering your average 'competition style' tuned runner, merge collector, tig welded bla bla bla manifold for a 4 banger would average $1000 over here in OZ... there are some decent shops over your way and considering you won't be able to use, or will have to modify substantially bits and peices of the 'kit' it doesn't seem worth it to me..
