    Default mt 255/50/16 supra rim

    can anyone tell me if a 16x9 (+50) jza80 supra rim with a mickey thompson 255/50/16 will fit under the rear of my mx83 cressida? its only lowered about 1.5 inch. thanks ron

    I fitted 16x7 +50s with 225x50 tyres to mine . The extra 34mm tyre dia over standard may be a worry for you. I would doubt they would fit and be legal

    yeah i got them today anyway. they fit ok but sit outside the rear 1/4 atad but there for track use only anyway. ive also got 16x7 +45 which maybe a better option???

    I never got to see your car go down the strip last time at willowbank, but seeing the insane amount of squat Sleepercorty gets in his car, I have a feeling "outside the rear 1/4" is going to result in tyres spending quality time getting to know your rear quarter panels.

    Unless the negative camber gained as the IRS does it's thing will allow the top of tires to tuck inside when the rear end as it squats down. I guess its really a matter of how much is a "tad?"

    yeah i was thinking that but my car is noway near as low as his. im going to roll them and see how i go. im thinking the is250 wheels might be better for the mt 255
