u can get the bottle refilled if not paying rent if u know the right people (and u own boc stamped bottle like me), its not easy though and i find it a pain as i have to travel and fit in with a good time with others, u can rent for only a day or month at a time.

i bought a boc 170 dc inverter and havent looked back, even tho im not experienced in tig work, its pretty easy to use, even on body panels, mine has the hf start, so all ya have to do is pull the trigger and away it goes, without it you have the strike an arc like a stick welder, the guys at boc reccomended that i pay the extra for the hf start, it also has infinite controls, much better for thinner metals,
didnt bother with ac as i will most likely never weld aluminium, my i/c pipework and other engine bay stuff will be all stainless, if i need to get something done wit an ac ii will just take it somewhere and get it done.
