Just thought I would let you know my first order a few weeks back I added to the comments that I was a toymods member and I put my user name but received no discount.

I've found they need a reminder of the Toymods discount, especially if you add or change your order along the way.
Sometimes shipping costs can also be a problem unless you order quite a few dollars worth.
Shipping costs from United Arab Emirates (UAE) I've found to be quite expensive, and because a fair amount of stuff that i wanted wasn't available it made the order no longer financially viable

Saabg you probably only paid $180 because your items were shipped with other items??? Importmonster are always shipping from Japan I'd be supprised if they didn't combine shipping?

Gsovec, your not even a finical member of Toymods why would you get a 10% discount? Amayama are a supporter of Toymods and you go and post a link to another competitor in their thread.

If I was Amayama I would now give you a 10% price increase!

ra_28 Sorry but I didn't see that amayama says 10% discount for Toymods financial members, I just saw Toymods members. Justin from Amayama says: "All Toymods members receive a 10% discount. Please quote your Toymods user name to receive the discount."
I didn't realize that Amayama is a Toymods sponsor, sorry if I missed that. I was just trying to help other member.

Yes the dicount was originally open to Toymods financial members but we extended that to non-financial members outside of Australia as a gesture of goodwill.

I made a thread announcing that we would not be answering PMs and to email us directly through the website:

7 days with no answer is to be expected when we don't use Toymods for business dealings and made this clear from outset. If you have any more questions by all means contact us directly throught he Amayama website.

Importmonster definitely bulk ship so I get your point but I've ordered plenty of things from nengun (my intercooler for example) that are the same size or bigger and the postage was nowhere near $700. Don't get me wrong, amayama is the best source for new toyota parts and I will continue to use them. It's just when it comes to purchasing larger items from amayama it's not economically viable. I did email justin about this as I thought the $700 quote must have been a mistake but I dint get a response. A friend of mine who I put on to amayama had no response from them for nearly a month when his order hadn't been delivered so I guess they must be super busy or under staffed at the moment as I have received quick responses from them in the past. Great company amayama but it would seem they are not a one stop shop so I don't see a problem with gsovec recommending a company that can provide a service that amayama doesn't.

I'd like to clear this up on here in this thread seeing as you brought it up. Could you let me know the order number and I'll check it out and give a reply here to clear any confusion up, also to show anyone browsing this thread we are comitted to each and every quote we make, and a reason why a response may have been missed.
