ok i can fairly easily make the basic shape of the adapter plate and replicate the two bolt patterns.... what i'm concerned about is how the hell i'm supposed to get the two patterns centred accurately. it doesn't matter if they're out a little rotation-wise, but obviously the two will need to be aligned perfectly.
help?

that sounds a bit agricultural...
get the front half of each geabox case (disassembled) and whack onto a mill bed. use table to index the front main bearing (much larger dimension to make sure you dont fuck up the centre axis, as errors are reduced) then index each of the bolt holes. repeat with other box, and voila
try and get centreline axis true to within 0.25mm
cheers

ps - what box? i might have em already?
