the setup i was looking at loads the bearing axially (i know its not the strongest way to load a spherical bearing). basically you get a bearing cup and weld it onto the original bracket, sleeve the original radius rod to suit the bearing id, cir clip the bearing in and away you go. using the original pivot point and original radius rod.
