Default 94 holden apollo/widebody gearbox part number?

I've found a gearbox on ebay that i'm thinking of using.

The gearbox is from a 94 holden apollo. The engine would have still been a 5sfe.

I'm replacing my gearbox in the st184 celica which from what I know is a S54

    Could anyone assist please?

Can't imagine it being different to the equivalent Camry, pretty sure it's an S52 then. I can check my parent's widebody Camry tonight if you want slightly stronger comfirmation

That would be really nice of you Hiro thanks very much
I'm hoping it will work well in my celica if i end up buying it

I am wondering if the cv shafts are the same too

I am also hoping that its the same box as the one I have at the moment. The only thing i'm then worried about is the gear ratios

Checked, parental unit's '96 series 2 SDV10R CSi Camry has an S53 according to the build plate. In theory, that's the same as an ST162 SX, unless the final-drives are different (I've seen different final drives in the same series gearbox before, particularly in the C52)

So that would mean that it would be quite revvy through the gears. The celica as far as I know is a S54

I'm going to do some investigating thanks very much
