The winton fun day is on july the 3rd . these are well organised days
you need to get there early to get a spot
although the field , does thin out later in the day , you can get plenty of track time in on these days

hey ian just to clarify what does your car need for these days?

can i just use a normal roadworthy car? how early do we need to get there? can you pre-book?

you can use any type of car as long as its in a safe conditions , it does not have to be registered , you need compliant helmet
long sleeve top preferably wool, long pants
cams s2 license, i think you can get that there on the day , not 100% sure on that
you need to get there fairly early , gates open about 8am ,and there is usually a queue waiting to get in
car has to be scrutineer d etc
once there and you are not sure of what to do just ask one of the officials, if he cant help he will direct you to someone that can , they are a good bunch of blokes that run it , and they do a good job

Just to clarify you do not require and type of cams licence, you can pretty much just rock up off the street, pay the $30 and cut some laps.
Just wear suitable clothes and get rid of any loose objects in the car and you should be sweet

This is on the TCCA calendar for any one with a club permit car that wants to go for a run.

Best I get the Daihatsu under way.. needs harness bar... seats mounted.. shocks rebuilt.. new brake pads.

I've been attending Winton Fun Days for a few years now and they are great fun, cheap, hassle free motoring and I cannot reccomend them enough.

Ill be there with my supra, hope to see toyota well represented...

they are not anal on noise , as long as it doesn't make your ears bleed as all the flaggies are volunteers
so they dont want to make it to hard on them ,
