2jzgte 2nd turbo not coming online

As stated my mates supras 2nd turbo isnt boosting all the time, it works sometimes, but not all the time. It only started dooing it recently. It is stock and does not have a boost controller. I did have some cracked vaccum lines that i have replaced, but still tempermental

i did notice that the end of one of the black vaccum valves that controls the actuator in the top middle of the motor, which of diagrams i beleive controls the Intake air control valve, is loose.

as far as a can tell of the standard vac line diagram everything is plumbed right.

help is much appreciated, as this thing has valves and actuators everywhere

did you replace the vac hoses with pretty coloured silicone ones? as sometimes they have been known to cause issues...

also potentially try the temporary ttc mod and see if it works properly... might help narrow down where the problem is in the system

i had the same problem and still do sort of, if i accelerate slowly then plant it after 4k rpm i only get 1 turbo, if i shift right on the limiter from 1st to 2nd the 2nd turbo wont come online then either.

but other than that all works ok.

i used the TTC mode for a while to make sure everything was still ok within the system but couldnt stand the lack of down low power.

thnks for the info. Also i did notice that on 80% throttle the 2nd turbo would come online everytime without fail
