what the chances of a part number of injectors for the 2j?
If the brown is what you bought, whats the yellow one then?

 2jzgte vvti injectors vs RX7 850cc injectors
hi guys i need some help. does anyone have a picture of 2jzgte vvti injectors? or some measurements?
i brought some 850cc rx7 injectors they fit in the rail but i think they may be a bit short and the side feed is not exactly on the middle of the rail.

i have the brown/red colored ones. im thinking just a spacer under the injector might do the job

Re: 2jzgte vvti injectors vs RX7 850cc injectors
Re: 2jzgte vvti injectors vs RX7 850cc injectors
Just to let you kow that there isn't any difference (Bar the colour) for VVTi 2JZGTE injectors vs non-VVTi ones that I know of
Cheers

Re: 2jzgte vvti injectors vs RX7 850cc injectors
i think that is wrong wilbo http://www.nzperformance.co.nz/store.../prod_142.html
lists the injectors for a 2jz and the vvti seperately.
also http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...+injector+flow has pictures of the vvti and the non vvti injectors and you can see the slight difference in the height of the injectors above the o ring.
i will have a non vvti rail tomorrow so i can measure and fit the injectors but from over the phone measurements it seems the non vvti rail is about 4 mm taller and that about what i need for the injectors and collars i have to fit. and the non vvti rail seems like it will fit vvti runners. i will confirm this tomorrow tho 100%. but so far this is looking good
i will take pictures side by side and measurements with a caliper tomorrow but im confident i have fixed the problem fingers crossed

2JZGTE VVTI injectors part number 23250-46100

Jealousy is a curse
Re: 2jzgte vvti injectors vs RX7 850cc injectors
Re: 2jzgte vvti injectors vs RX7 850cc injectors
it's so weird, the 23250 number is nippon denso, but the 0E30 number is a Jecs injector code.

Re: 2jzgte vvti injectors vs RX7 850cc injectors
ok so i was asked to finish this thread. the rx7 injectors will fit a 2jz rail but will need collars to space them up so that the inlet of the injector is inline with the feed rail of the fuel rail. when you use a collar the injector itself sits just above the rail but it still seals the fuel in 50+psi at idle.
also the 2 rails vvti and non vvti are the same i took measurements and they are both exactly the same. anymore questions?

mr75: hey got a pic of the collars and where they sit?
how thick is the collar?
will sr20 side feed injectors work?
they are also high impedance
thanks

Re: 2jzgte vvti injectors vs RX7 850cc injectors
here is a picture of the collar http://img294.imageshack.us/i/injector1km9.jpg/
the collar is just enough to sit the injector feed in line with the rail feed about 15mm from memory. if you have a picture of your injector i could possibly tell you.
