Yes!
All suspension components are cross swappable throughout the ae9X models.
Just a quick question as above..
Will suspension parts (mainly aftermarket) made for an SX fit normal CS, CSi's etc?

Your front sway bar won't fit unless you also transfer across the LCAs.

Ah ok. Are aftermarket sway bars available for the lower spec models?
Unless your CS has a GZE or 20v in it why not buy an SX?

I'm buying this CS because it has fairly low mileage (around 200,000) and is in VERY good condition, drives like new, owned by a friend so i know the history etc etc.. i pretty much just want a reliable daily, has enough power at the moment just want to tighten up the suspension a bit..
Base model swaps FTW!
gze it,
and yes as said above you will need the front wishbones from a SX, GTi or a SLX holden nova if you want to chuck a front sway in as there are no mounts for a front sway on base models (you could also just weld mounts on but yeah your choice there).
rear will go straight in regardless of model.
* whiteline adjustable rear sway bar (solid) is the best $ 4 $ you could spend in terms of basic suspension component upgrades.
the rear poly bush kits for the SX/GTI will not go into the CS for the lower arm at the hub-end. Different width bush/arm end.
FWIW coilovers for ae92/101/111 WILL bolt in no problem... i had 111 cusco zero's in my ae92 circut car..
and a bigger no name rear swaybar... i did not put a front swaybar in... turn in was intense and tripod through corners on QR was the result!!

Also the models that don't have a front swaybar need a different kind of D-bush retainer on the end of the control arm if you are installing an SX swaybar as it holds the swaybar via bushes as well.

How much are you paying for the CS?

$2k
Its near impossible to find a tidy SX down here..
Soon they will come, Adelaide was like that once, now I see an SX almost weekly. Doesn't make it that much easier getting parts but at least you can get the car cheap enough. Though the ferry ride doesn't always work in your favour there. Good luck with the car.
