    Default jza70 jzx100 compatability questions

    hello all

i reccently ended the life of my jza70. =[

so have decided to go a jzx100, but i have some questions about what i can use from one car to the other

Iam thinking of buying an auto (seem so much cheaper) and using the r154, master, slave and pedal box from the supra.
I understand that i need the remote shifter, which my car doesnt have.
Does anyone know if i can buy the remote shifter part to attach to my box from toyota ??? and does anyone know how much this would be worth ???
will the master/slave work on the jzx100 ????
i will need the manual prop shaft right ?
does anyone know if the pedal assembly from my car would work on the jzx100, obviously, the facia panel around the shifter would be missing, but apart from that is this a feesable option, and will it be cost effective ????

    secondly

    i have a gt35r on a trust manifold to suit the 1jz in a jza70.
in a chaser, i am aware that i might have clearance issues with the wastegate. can anyone confirm this ??
also, i have a feeling that the bolt pattern on the vvti 1jz head is different from the normal 1j, is this true ???

    also
i have a power fc to suit a jza70/soarer. iam assuming that this would suit a jzx90 as well, but does it fit to the vvti model as well ???

    sorry about the long post,

    cheers

You can buy the parts from Toyota. Get the part numbers from www.toyodiy.com ...

It adds up to cost a fair wack, around $400+ if I recall when I priced all the parts required!

Another option is to lengthen your existing shifter (Cut and weld the upper housing).

Slave will. Master is a maybe, I'm not 100% sure but I suspect you might need the jza80 style clutch master that slopes away for clearance...
