    Default A340 shift box

    Hi,
I need to control a normal 3 solonoid A340 , whats the best option ? Its behind a turbo deisel in a 4WD . It could be usefull to have some lockup points changed i guess but at this stage i just want like factory control . My plan is a MX73 ECT unit as this is free to me but my other issue is the motor is fly by wire and auto is cable line pressure . Thinking just to weld a extension on the pedal to use a throtle cable for the auto and toyota TPS.
Is there any aftermarket controllers that would control a 4th line pressure solonoid valve body and be happy with a simple tps signal from the DBW pedal ?

Check out PCS trans controllers, will pretty much do anything on any gearbox but they are pricey.(about 1k).
If its a 3 solenoid box with a cable line pressure a suprastick V3 will run it no trouble but if it has a fourth solenoid for the line pressure instead of a cable, then it wont work.
If you need a suprastick send me a PM, i have one i was going to use but ended up with an MV spragless box so i have to use the MV shift box, so ill probably sell the suprastick.

Thanks for the info , i saw the PCS ones but they are to many $$. I had a quick look and maybe the PCS would control 8 solonoids for a A650 ?

I have a simple shift thing that sideshow did for me, doesn't so line pressure, but it does control the box in a very simple fashion very cheaply.

I haven't connected the line pressure cable yet, though I will have to.

I'm not going to lock it on, atleast not yet. I will speak to MV to see if he has an electronic solution.
