    Default 2 pins flasher relay

    i've got an 2 pins flasher relay for signal lights. one pin was labeled as "L" and another is "X". how this thing works actually? i'm connecting my signal lights completely ground up. can any one help me about this?

    should go in line with the load (lights). Usually (i am guessing its an older device as i don't think new ones did it) its 2 pieces of metal. they heat up from the load (so you need the right number of lights or it will change flash rates) and when they are hot the bend and disconnect the lights. then it cools down, bends back and reconnects. over and over again

    so meaning that one side is connected to a switched +12v, the other end is connected to the bulbs/lights. the flash rate will depend on the amount of current drawn by the bulb??

    Connect a fused ignition supply to the "X" terminal.
    Connect the "L" terminal to the common wire of your blinker switch.
    Connect the corresponding output wires from your blinker switch to your lights.

    Yes i do. I would have guessed that L was the "load" but i wasn't sure but anyway bradw has confirmed it so try it out. but yeah you will find a simple low whattage light if you tryed tyo test it would probably not work or flash quick
