    you want the applest orange?

how thin does it have to be?

can you mount a fan on the front of the radiator instead of the rear (or the other way around)

if you need a crazy powerul radiator fan, then you probably need a better radiator.

The thinnest one available...not much room to play with...
Cant mount the fan on the front as the air con condensor is there...
Rather change the fan...not the radiator...

autobarn do the super duper thin ones.
flows pretty damn good on my car and mine looks just like the autobarn ones.
    they go for 120 i think for a 10"
if i was you, go to 2 smaller ones, rather than one big one. you'll get more airflow over a bigger area

So did you buy yours from autobarn or does it just look similar to the ones they sell?
I take it that 10" is the smallest one available?
I hear Davies Craig is probably the best on the market? Is it the thinnest?

If AutoBarn is anything like the supercheap etc, avoid it. Check for 'made in china' labling. Davies Craig are absolutely awesome, and Australian made. I can get the 10" for about $95, not sure if that's a standard price or not, but if you're that keen I can freight them to you. First thing: if it's getting hot, get rid of the AC condensor, it kills airflow to the radiator. What's your car and application? Have you run a good cooling flush and good coolant thru the car?

Step 1. - Measure EXACTLY what space you have available.. (Diameter and Depth)
Step 2. - Jump onto www.daviescraig.com.au and check out their specs...
    Step 3. - Purchase correct Fan/s

I am running twin DCSL14's on my Cressida and they work very well..

How much for 2 x DSLX10? (50mm wide compared to the 64mm of the DSL10)
Its fine wen moving....but wen stationary for like 5-10minutes in the afternoon, the needle likes to venture past half way...otherwise it is well behaved at below half way...(mind you, there is only ONE fan on it now - some 10" fan with 1/4 of the shroud angle grinded to clear the dump pipe. When tested against the stock thermo fan, it was nowhere near as powerful)

That's not a real problem man, as long as it doesn't go into or close to the red, it's not a huge problem. What's your application?

I understand you can cut the body...but i hear that the shrouding is a pretty main helping factor for efficient cooling...also...for my right hand side application, its not so much the shrouding im worried about, its the motor that wont clear it...so hopefully 50mm is enough to clear it...not only that..but i hear that cheaper fan/motors arent as fast/powerful as the davies craig ones...

They're not. And they aren't as reliable or quiet either...you get what you pay for. If you want china crap, by all means buy it, if you want quality, look for something australian made.
