Default r154 to ra28 gear selector and slip yoke question

    hey there

i put a 1jzgte with r154 in to my ra28 and found that the jzx90 gear selector did not fit as it was set up to be further back. but i noticed supra jza70 selector (threw pictures ) bolted straight on top off the gear box.so i was wondering can any one confirm this. that it bolts straight on or do i have to make a custom selector.

o and i didnt get a slip yoke with my half cut are they the same as any other makes?

if any one has these parts im happy to buy or trade.

    thanks pete

the jza70 shifter does bolt straight to the top of the gearbox... however i think you need to swap the rear housing of the gearbox to get the non-extension housing box... or it might just be a case of unbolting the extension bits and just bolting the normal shifter into the top... someone would need to confirm this though

yeah the jza70 shifter does not fit as i compared the two gear boxs together side by side . and you do need to change the rear housing and selector .yeah so if you were to put this in a ra23/28 you need the jza70 shifter/gearbox or make a new selector (like i did lol ; ) ) because the remote shifter stick would foul on the floor sub frame and plus it would not line up with the centre consol ; ).
