    Default 2jz wiring help?

    hello all i am 3/4 of the way through doing my 2j swap in a mx83 glx and im having trouble with the wiring side. has anyone done a 2j swap and can help me with that side, would be much appreciated.

    Step one is to search and find wiring diagrams.

    Step two is to ask specific questions

    the way I do my conversion looms for something like that is:

    1. Take original 7m engine loom and strip out all the engine-related wiring, leaving things like the injector/ignitor power feed, starter trigger, oil pressure sender, water temp sender to dash, alternator charge light wire and other body-related wires left over.

    2. Take the 2J engine loom and strip out the body-related wiring

    3. Join the leftover looms together, splicing the required ignition power, ground, start, water temp, charge light, oil pressure sender wires etc etc.

    4. wire the original ECU plug that came from the dash loom to the appropriate spots in the 2J ECU plugs

    Plug it in and hit the start key
