Hi,
We received an email that the company that hosts these forums will be doing some major maintenance and infrastructure upgrades, starting (AEDST) at 3pm today (Saturday 27th March) and will take 6hrs (ie finish at 9pm this evening).
According to the email there may be some services that will be unavailable during this time.
So, this is a "heads up" in case you have any issues with the forums during the above period.
Another infrastructure/maintenance window is scheduled for the same time and period on Saturday 10th April.

Hi,
Our Hosting provider will be performing some quick maintenance on the forums from 3pm-4pm this Friday (4th June). The maintenance is for the Account Centre, and I'm not sure what affect it will have, if any, on these forums.
So... this is a "heads up" in case you have any issues during this time.

Was that a scheduled hiccup this morning or unintentional, or did no-one notice?
Toymods.net was referring to Toymods.org.au which was then cyclically referring to Toymods.net... rinse repeat.
Also exposed the ~homedir that the site is hosted in too. Which if the host is dumb (and they usually are) is a pretty big security flaw

yeah i now have scars down my wrists....
It was weird
xxxx was referenced in the failed address too
Had the same issue. Ended up having to edit my Toymods bookmark to be .org.au instead of .net, which it has been for the past 2 years or more i think?
Kind Regards,
Kurt.

Even using .org.au I had no toymods all day at work. Most productive day ever lol.
If in doubt power out
Hi,
LOL! I didn't get it at work today either. I just figured someone stuffed up one of the firewalls at work.
However, while there was no email from the Hosting company saying there was maintenance, I did see an email from them, replying to RobST162 about this issue. So, something happened.
It is obviously okay now.
