Red face n00b boost controller question

    Hey guys,

sorry to be annoying, I had a look and couldnt quite find what i needed.
So silly noob callum has a haltech ecu running in his car, I dont need to control the boost as of yet but I would like to get a reading. Now I have a boost controller with wiring but I don't know if it will intefere with the haltech? Also, will it read boost without being setup to control boost? Its a Turbosmart E-boost 2.
I only have a vacumme line atm, so all help is appreciated.
Currently only running twin singles- not looking to controlling the boost until i get a new turbo setup.

Thanks, and sorry for the noobness

Should be one from the ECU, but if the eBoost2 can use the factory signal, then there should be one on the back of the dash, black with brown bands (?).

The eBoost2 should be able to function solely as a boost gauge so long as it's powered up. The wiring should be totally independent of one another.

hmm I'll have a looksie for the rpm wire in a diagram for the haltech- i think it will be easier. Do I need the RPM wire for it to function as a boost meter?
