I like saturday, means I can continue my Sunday tradition of naked hammock lazing.

I'd love to come. Timing could be a problem.

On Saturday the 1st, I may be flying out for the Land of the Rising Sun & the Land of the Google Fail.

But EC is my first choice.

My brother in law was saying there was a stand at the easter show about
an in door karting track at Arncliffe.
The guy was telling him that there more referred to as slide karts as the track is polished as the karts slide every were.
    has any body been there??

they are slow and shit Craig, the fact they use hard tyres on a polished surface just makes it more-so

I went there for a bucks party a little while ago. Was fun to drive but the track was probably a bit small and narrow for a decent sized group, although I havent been to EC or Picton so cant comment on how fast they were (though they probably seemed faster due to being indoors).

The site mentions a 'skid car', which is something off the side to the main kart track - its essentially just a dogem track 'on steriods' as they say.

The normal karts hardly slide at all (well I was trying to win so didnt push them that much )

I went there with work it was fun but crap compared to Picton. Being an indoor track it is very narrow and as a result restricts passing. Very fucking annoying when you have a couple of slow karts amongst the pack.

In the final race I got an absolute dog of a kart ie 1 second per lap slower then the previous kart I had used but was able to hold my position for 6 laps or so as passing opportunities are few and far between if you hold a good line.

Picton you have a tonne more width and can use ripple strips etc vs indoor having a fixed width tyre wall.
    If in doubt power out
