Hi,
I was bored at work today trying to find some info today re 550cc US 2jz injectors into a 1jz, i believe the 2jz injectors are high impedence, and therefore require a resistor pack, or resistors soldered onto the plug (the ground wire i believe) to make them usable.
Just wondering if anyone who has perhaps done this on their 1jz can clarify what exactly needs to be done, or point me in the direction of a guide for the swap? I'll be selling my car very soon so probably wont get the end result but I remember seeing info on this a while ago and couldn't find anything substantial today while bored at work so just had to know.

Is anyone here actually running the US 2jz 550cc injectors with resistors? Did you use the 3 resistor setup? And is anyone running them succesfully with an A/F ratio tuning device, like an SAFC??

I am running 550's but on an aftermarket ecu so no resistors sorry. I have seen it setup before but never asked how it worked. I didn't think it would be an issue. A lot of US guys do it with SAFC's.

That Soarercentral thread doesn't seem to exist anymore. Off the top of anyone's head, how much HP are the 440's and 550's capable of?
