Are you using standard Toyota shims???
If so, I would say slightly above middle range...
Gday guys im starting to build up a mildly moddifyed 4AGE
but want to know what valve clearances people use?
according to the 4AGE adv. specs thread
Inlet: 0.15-0.25mm
Exhaust: 0.20-0.30mm
should i be aiming for smack in the middle or slightly above the middle range (as it decrease over time as the shims wear in?)
whats the adverage increment on commonly avaliable shims?
Cheers

I aim for the middle or a little higher
The clearences get smaller because the valve after opening and closing so many times actually smacks itself up into the head further hence closing the valve clearences up !
P.s merc blue : did u get your p.m?
