Unhappy Woops! Resurrecting a ST141 Corona

Sorry for the misleading title of the original thread, didn't realise rebirthing meant what it does.

    Hi guys,

My son and I have an ST141 to get back on the road and are looking for places to obtain parts. Going to keep the 2SC motor which needs a rebuild so we are starting on that first.
Any suggestions on suppliers around Brisbane or anywhere would be great.
Also need to replace the rubber door seals chasing them also.

    Thanks for any help
    Regards
    Geoff

I've had considerable luck pulliing parts out of Boss wreckers. They have a few coronas in the yard, but not sure they're st141's, could be rt's.

Consumables from the usual auto parts shops, repco, bursons, etc, and Toyota for some of the specific bits. I've actually found that some of the parts aren't too expensive. I usually go to the parts shop at kitchner rd (just off gympie rd). Otherwise, trawl the for sale threads and post in the wanted section for specifics.

Maybe start a build thread to keep the forum appraised of your progress, and look for a corona thread in the general car talk section.

    Good luck.
