that part number looks liek a toyota one, and the carbies look similar to Aisans..
was it a 2T-B motor?
looks liek these 2TB ones

I was hoping the carbie genius' out there would be able to tell me what carbies these are, and if i can even get a manifold so i can fit them onto an 18rc celica motor.
i just took them off my ta22, 2t motor
number on the manifold is 17111-25020 i don't know if this helps but i can't find the markings on the carbies themselves.

thanks for that, it does say Aisans on them, i just never heard of them, do you know if it's possible to get a manifold to get them to fit an 18rc motor? are they even worth doing it? they were running good in the ta22, might have been a 2tb, i bought the car with them on, but there was a single carbie in the boot, so i'm assuming he done the conversion

Aisan is stock carby for toyotas from that time.
the K series twin carb and single carbs were all Aisan.
I think it wasn't until the 2TG that they went to twin Solex.
18RG? maybe not likely... unless there was an 18RG-B![]()

There are such beasts as 18R-Bs, there are manifolds, very very rare though. They used the same twin Aisan carbs as the 2T-B. So you have the carbs, maybe not the correct linkages and the manifold of course will not go on.
A twin carb stock/mild 18R-C would be unique and would be nice to drive with a better mid range than a stock 18R.
Good luck finding a manifold, I have seen only one on an engine in twenty odd years. May have been on motors in NZ and the Asian markets, PNG, Indo, Singapore. Don't beleive they were in the US market.

Thanks alot for that info Rodger, i doubt i'm going to have any luck finding the correct manifold to make them fit.... it was just going to be a "for now" thing, i'm really after an 18rg... still on the prowl, thanks for all the replies
Cheers

I got a set of twins off an 18R-B for my RA25 some time ago, but have never fitted them. They look cool though, and would probably look even more period/JDM than an 18RG (although wouldn't go as hard).
The even rarer engine was the 18R-E, with fuel injection. I saw one of them go complete on ebay, and I missed the end of the auction where it went for some rediculously low price like $400!!!
Best bet (if that manifold doesn't fit) would be to take a stock 18RC manifold, cut the ends off and adapt new flanges. You could probably make something neat for under $100 if you're handy with a TIG.
