hey guys this isnt the same question displayed over and over again. i did a search.

but i couldnt find anything to answer my Question.

Q, once you have recived a rep of 40
been a member for more than 30 days
have posted more than a 100 times in tech and general.

(this allows you to have a avatar and post in classifies etc..)

but if i reach 40 then go to 39 will i still be alowed to have a avatar etc..

not worry as i am hoping to be at the monthly meet and become a financial member woohoo

so far, for people who have gone backwards, it looks like the avatar stays for a bit (for peope with sayy 27 rep), but the rights to post in for sale get revoked immediately

try to put an avatar up now, if it works we can neg rep you down and see what happens

as for rep, i'm pretty sure it is 30 but the FAQ still says 40

try it and see... meh, you go down a few, you go back up a few it's all good

and getting to 40 won't stop ppl neg repping you

still waitign for first troll to come along so we can have some neg practice

as for tryign to get to 40 some people have 6 and 7 pos rep power now. one good quality post to help people and rep jumps dramatically!

You dont lose ur avatar if u go under 30 rep but you do lose the posting right. However not instantly only after a short amount of time not sure if 5min-30mins.

You cant even take off ur avatar as the option has disappeared.

I didn't think you could -ve rep (in one hit) as much as you can +ve rep. 'Cos you can +ve rep 6 or 7 points doesn't mean you can -ve rep that amount - or so I beleive.

Meh, in any event, put me down to give him a -ve rep also - it will be interesting to see what happens.
