Default Radius rod/Swaybar mounting plates for RA28

I'm looking for replacement mounts as mentioned above as mine are cracked, I'd like to know if this part is RA28 specific or will any Gen 1 celica mounting plate work?

Why not just get some second hand RA28 ones?
    Cheers Dave

Yeah mate, I'll just go down to Repco and buy a pair!
Actually, I forgot about the Swaybar mounting plate tree I planted in my backyard...

Just found out: RA23/TA23/RA28 swaybar mounting plates are all interchangeable.
You can close this thread I guess, mods.

    Repco don't sell secondhand items.

There was no need for the to be a smartarse when what airfireman said was a genuine response.

Either go to a wreckers (you know, somewhere that sell/stocks secondhand car parts) that has a 22, 23 or 28, and get some.

Or, check the various wrecking 22, 23, or 28 threads in the wrecking section of the classifieds right here on Toymods and ask one of them for a pair, but don't expect to get much help from anyone here that's seen this thread.

lol what can I say, dumb questions get dumb answers!
While I have been on the internet and forums for the best part of 13 years I do understand that Im new around here and, without trying to sound too much like a smart arse, I was asking a specific tech question in the tech section, not asking for obvious ideas to be put forward as if I'm some sort of mental defective.
I thought that it was obvious I couldn't find any RA28 ones, why else would I be asking the question in the first place? You reckon I was trying to do some zaney mounting plate mod? I dont know about the situation down in VIC or WA, mate, but here in Sydney the RA28 and certain parts for it seem to be rare as hen's teeth, so yeah, I am having trouble finding replacements. I've actually been to 3 wreckers and found ZERO gen 1 celicas, not to mention the six or so other wreckers I've called up over the phone, a couple actually laughed at me when I asked them if they had any gen 1 celicas: "Haha nah, mate, no chance!".
Since I found out the info I need I have been looking on here in the wrecking section but seem to be coming up equally fruitless...

And in the future I'll remember to mention the reasons behind any sepcific questions I may need to ask so I dont have to shoot down dumb answers with my smart arse gun...

There are heaps of seconhand parts out there if you ask, I have 2 spare sets as I have wrecked many 28s, the answer would have been "do you have some or know where I can get some?"
    Too easy really
    Cheers Dave
