Default Early 80's corolla sedan fuel pump location

Gotta do a demo derby type deal next weekend in an early 80's corolla (unseen) my question is which side of the engine is the mech fuel pump on? i think its on the drivers side rear of the engine, it matters cause i gotta do an engine bay fuel tank set up on the day and would like to know the layout, any pics would be great, and are the fuel lines 1/4 or 5/16, thanx in advance MICK.

if it's a "k" motor, it is on the drivers side towards the front of the motor and iirc 1/4 inch lines

if it is a "A" motor rear wheel drive it will also be on the drivers side but to the rear of the motor.

if it is an "A" motor front wheel drive, it will be at the back of the motor towards the passenger side iirc.

all have 1/4 inch lines and will have fuel filters on the drivers side inner guard , so you may be able to utilise some of those lines.

good luck, and let's see some pics when you're done.
