    Default Microtech X4 Input Plug

I need a suitable plug for the input trigger of a Microguess X4 igniter.

Stupid me assumed that it would come with the igniter. When it didn't, I emailed the people I bought from (Mazfix) and they said the plug wasn't available without buying a whole loom.

Does anybody know of a suitable 4 pin plug that will attach and be reliable, or am I opening this thing and adding a different plug that I can buy easily?

Random, my igniter came with a small 4-wire loom which I wired in. Perhaps this is what they're talking about. How much is it?

    Typical Microcrap.
Pull apart the ignitor box and wire in a plug of your choosing?
    That's what I would do.

can you post a pic of the plug. if it's the same as the plug for the microtech ecu's i used compter power supply plugs i think they were. can easy get them from a computer place if they strip and rebuild them. they'll have heaps around. if your lucky they'll give them to you for free if not should only be a few dollars.

You can get those plugs from RS components in bags of 5. I got a heap of pins you can have so you don't have to buy 100 like I did. (I got some spare 4 way plugs if you need them too).

It's a dual row Molex Minifit Jr. series plug.

Which plug do you need? I'll find a part number for RS Components. The sockets will only cost you a few dollars.

they look like the ones Jonathon - they are the smaller 4pin from memory. Plonka - PC shop will be your best bet. Take the module with you and match it up
