1 JZ-GTE vvti into Hilux

Started the mod on my Hilux last Sunday.

Great so got on to photo bucket and got the pics sorted so I can start posting.

So im dropping a 1jzvvti into my Hilux Raider and it started about a month ago. Would be great to get your guys input on this. You guys may pick up sumthing that could be a problem down the line.

Only thing i think may be a annoyance is the sump hitting the cross beam

Got the cam covers and bits off and cleaned up.

Motor is still in good nick. It's only got 106000 km on the clock. I got my hands on a jzx 100 chasser half cut from Japan which was a bit bumped infront.

I got it running on the floor in December just to see if it was ok. Will have to see when its under load thou but no smoke and she purs dead still on the floor. Used the fuse box from the chasser and and thats the set running with STD ECU

I pulled out the wires from the chasser and built up the harnes. Going to stick in the chassers cluster aswell

Motor went it and the fit was good. Had to move the power steering sumwhat to the left, its was a bit tite on the turbo side.

Managed to get a good size intercooler in the front 600 x 300

Got my hands on a bosch 3 stage fan but it just could not fit. Had to get two smaller ones

Made up all the templates from hard board and the guys are busy lazer cutting it for me.

Going to run it with a dry sump. Surge tank is going to be about 7 liters
