    Hi,

    Isn't the KE55 a 2-bolt master cylinder, but the 28 needs a 4 bolt unit?

Correct River.. though I am not sure what the PBR booster runs in the later KE55s. Being PBR is probably why you can run a Commodore one on that booster. Wont work on a celica though.

Took a photo of the one I bought for my car. The stud pattern is right. It has three outlets (two at the front)though which means I guess I have to block one off? Will ask that in the celica thread after doing a search to see if there is an answer.

Also not being a person who understands electrics.. other than when the smoke gets out thats bad... I would like to know how you wire up the two wire brake fluid level warning from the supra to the one wire/two plugs in parallel celica wiring loom.

    Hi,

Two wire? For the one resovoir?

Anyway.... as you are in Victoria, you may want to contact Hoppers Stoppers and purchase their master cylinder. They have a 1-inch bore MC that bolts to the RA23/28 booster and connects up the lines as well. When dealing with brakes I find it best to go for something new.

yeah i guess power and earth... but who knows. you can see the lead hanging out of the reservoir lid in the photo.

now you tell me about the hoppers stoppers m/c

i was looking for new as i think the same way, but ended up with second hand when the couple of brake places i spoke to were of no use..

oh well you live and learn

    Hi,

    I think it's $220.

I decided to get one, along with the vented disk brakes upgrade for Trini. May as well get the whole lot done in one hit, and use new components.

    Hi,

So... you should be able to join those 2 wires together? And it will work for an RA28?

    Nah OMR.

Connect one wire to an earth. Connect the other wire to the original celica wire.

Well if its the same as the wiring diagram then White-Black to earth and the other wire to celica wiring.
