Question 2JZ + 6spd into HQ need some advice !

I am attempting to mount a 2JZ-GTE coupled to a T56 Gear box in a HQ tonner.

Has anyone seen this done ? or have they done this? am a bit conserned about the inner guard clearance would like some advice or input on fitting this.

    Cheers White410

i haven't done this conversion. one thing which i reckon you will need is a sump with the rearmost positioned bowl. thankfully the steering box is at the front. there may be issues with the steering shaft and the exhaust. there are others on here who'll know.

how does the T56's stick position compare to the aussie 4 speed ? does it have a rubber doughnut or a slip yoke on the back of it ?
so much stuff. so little time.

The box has a yoke in the arse now i had one made up as it had the stupid rubber yoke on it when i got it and the shifter is around 10"-12" behind the original mount

i have a toyota crown and it has independant from end. depending on your set up u may need a custom exhaust as bolt on single turbo exhausts and the factory set up might not fit
