or call bolt removal specialists and hope for the best.

No matter what, it's a bit of a game of luck, and a totally shit situation

Another fairly easy option is to screw a nut onto the end and weld the sucker on there. Obviously your turning power is increased dramatically so you can much more easily snap the bolt further off in the block, or chew the ass out of the thread.
The above opinion is just that - my opinion. It is not shared by any business that I am currently or have previously been involved with, nor any of their employee's.

If the threads are frozen it'll need heat AND/OR penetrating oil(wd40 is not) to loosen it. The ezout metal is pretty strong, but still not as strong as the bolt that's almost twice its size. If the bolt has broken, it cannot be removed by something half its size without being loosened up first.

can't add a sugestion for getting it out but

when you go to put it back in, buy some nickle anti sieze stuff and put that on your bolts before you put them back in

something along the lines of this http://www2.blackwoods.com.au/infoBA...2176&P=7761202

will stop the problem from happening again
As they say in the book, assembly is the reverse of dismantling, but slower cos you forgot where all the bits are
