KE70 Window "regs" - swappable between doors?

Got an issue with the window winder regular thingo in the drivers door, the massive cog that the winder drives is all chewed out and it's rather hard to keep the drivers window up. As it is the back drivers side door glass is held up with packing tape, keeps falling down.

Is it possible to swap this cog with say one from another door that never gets used?

Or does anyone know where (in Perth) I can still get these new/NOS/reconditioned/etc?

There not interchangeable from another door BUT it could be the same as another car but im not to sure.

Wreckers might have to be your way to go cause i don't you can buy them new anymore

Bugger Will be an absolute mission finding one at a local wreckers over here, I can't think of any that still keep cars as old as this puppy.

have you tried ringing SSS autos andy?... gimme a msg on facebook if you struggle to locate one...

also theres a site which lists the toyota IPL's.... if you can search thru that and type in other models of toyota cars and see if the part number relates =)

That's ok - I still don't have a Mustang - it's missed the boat twice now! I do however have a few KE70 window regulators!
