ST162 & ST184 shocks/struts interchangability

anyone know if the 2 bolts for the bottom of the struts are the same?

not talking about GT4's etc etc, just the Front runners ones..

no they are spaced differently

sorry no. i just remember when i sold my st162 shell i had to quickly whack on some st184 struts i had so they could wheel it onto the trailer. and only one bolt could go in.

one day i'll grab a set of st184 struts and hubs and see if the whole front hub can be used with the st162.

i'll try at the wreckers on the weekend hopefully.. like if it's only a few mm, nothing a drill or die grinder can't fix, and some nice washers..

i've been told that the top plates have the same pattern, i will check this also...

yeh the strut tops are the same.

i think the bolt holes are also a bigger diametre

tops are the same... get your front hubs drilled out to 17mm I think it is and buy the st184 bolts to fit it up.
