1994 camry a/c compressor same as st184 celica sx?

Hey everyone
I am having some trouble sourcing out a a/c compressor locally for my celica sx. I found one at the wreckers which was off a 1994 camry with the 5sfe motor. Can anyone please confirm if this will in fact fit my car?

Hey Adrian, call a few toyota wreckers and ask. Or check the jayair? book/website and see if they sell compressors for a 5s.

Good idea. I checked a few online shops and the part numbers were the same. I would be suprised if they engineered a seperate compressor for the camry even though it has the same engine. It hardly seems financially feasible

id say it should be the same but it might have a different hose fitting point but that can be changed with no problems
