Isnt the dipped light supposed to go out anyway when you put the high beams on. In this case you just have a fused high beam bulb/filament. Nothing more exciting than that![]()
hey all, sussing out the bugs in my new RA23. its got a weird problem.
both healights work as per usual when u turn them on, but when u put the high beams on, both lights (HB and normal light) on the drivers side turn off???? but the passenger side HB does work. WTH??

oh....awww there isnt anything like, "if you remove your dashboard and find where the green wire with the brown stripes goes through a tiny hole in the firwall kinda thing? awwwww well, lol, thanks man. ill check it out![]()

Hi,
Yes, sounds like you need two headlights.
The outer lights have lo/hi beam and the inner lights are lo beam only. When you put on hi beam the outer lights energise their hi-beam filament and the inner lights are turned on (lo-beam).
So, as mentioned by DrNick, your outer light has a blown hi beam.... and your inner light is blown also.
