Worst case, you can connect ground and 12v to motors directly to get the windows up dood. (switch wires to go other way)

clean the switches in the doors - the contacts in them carry the full motor current and moisture/gunk tends to leave them coated in non-conductive crud. They're a PITA to get out without braking stuff - but once cleaned (and the contact arms given a bend to improve contact pressure) they work just fine.
... this is assuming it's the switches.
can someone point me in the right direction.
My Ma61 drivers window is slow to go up compared to the passengers side, going down is about the same speed. are there any parts that wear that need replacment or is a new motor needed ?
see previous points about the door switches - they carry/switch the full current going to the motors so once they get gunked up or make a weak contact, you get a voltage drop across the switch and resulting poor motor performance.
Taking the switch out to cleanup its contacts may help. If the contacts don't look bad enough to have caused the symptoms, check the wire & switch terminals. They'll be jiggled enough during the R&R that it will work & look like it tests out OK when assembled but won't work for long.

Also, there's lots of stuff inside the door that probably needs to be cleaned & lubed & adjusted/aligned for it to work well.

Put 12V straight on the motor.
If it goes fast your problem is electrical (switches, power supply, etc).
If it still goes slow, your problem is mechanical (motor on way out, runners are stiff, something needs greasing, etc)
