hey oldcorollas..lol kazakhstan...no bro in kwa-zulu natal.SA..ya i actually i would like to learn more about these things and on hearing around that cams do give you more power but would really appreciatte advice on the issue of more power for this motor..currently i have installed a 63mm xorst back to front,50mm downpipes, standard branch header, standard ecu, bottom end rebored 20 thou
I have a crude and probably misunderstood understanding of 20v cams but I threw that into the wind when I wrote this

it may be of help
Information is POWER... learn the facts!!
if you can be even more specific.. what RPM range you want your power in, and what the car will be used for.
to put it simply, more lift increases torque (to a point), and more duration moves the powerband higher in the rev range, all assuming you do supporting mods to make the most of the cam change. (ie, remove other restrictions)

yes thnx guys thats does make sense, ok i do have a small mod on the car that which is an xorst vernier that retards xorts valves and can increase ignition timing to give better power of the line.what i am looking for is to increase bottom and top a bit. i dont have to go too big for now and if i have to go big then i would like to go supercharge. :-) obviously the cost factor comes into play so thats why the need for advice
oldcorollas wassup...well currently the VVT on my car kicks in about 5800rpm would be awesome if i could get that power band down to like about 4500rpm or lower...is there any quick mods for this motor
